Introduction to our delivery methods

Because we sell products of all sizes, from leather mouse pads to 150 lbs solid wood desks, we also have to use several different delivery methods.

The choice of the most efficient delivery method is based on the following criteria:

Purchased products

• Small to medium sized products (monitor arms, power bars, leather desk pads, ergonomic chairs, etc.) may be delivered by small package carriers such as Fedex, Purolator or UPS.
• For larger products (e.g. standing desks), we prefer to use a scheduled delivery services whenever possible for 3 reasons:
  
  
  1) Reduce the risk of damaged products in transit.
  2) Ensure safe delivery to you by coordinating the delivery time with you so that the products are not at risk of being stolen in your absence.
  3) Make your life easier by delivering the products inside your home, in the hallway.

   

Shipping address

• For the reasons mentioned above, we prefer to use small package carriers for small to medium products and scheduled delivery carriers for larger products.
• However, in some areas farther from major urban centres, no scheduled delivery service is available. When this is the case, the delivery is therefore made either with small packages carriers (e.g. Fedex) or with LTL companies (on wood pallets).

Detailed delivery steps for each delivery method:

Delivery made by small parcel carriers. (Fedex, Purolator, UPS, etc.)

2. Upon shipment of your order, you will receive a tracking number by email.

    

Scheduled delivery (Scheduled delivery inside your home, in the hallway.)

1. We prepare your order in 3 to 20 business days. To see shipping times by product, click here.
2. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email without any tracking information; it means your order is on its way to a local scheduled delivery partner, not directly to your shipping address. Transit time from our distribution center to the local delivery partner's warehouse can take up to 8 business days.
3. Once our local scheduled delivery partner has received your order, they have around 2 business days to check that all your products have been received in good condition, and to contact you to schedule a delivery time at your convenience.
4. On delivery day, our local scheduled delivery partner will show up within the time window agreed with you and deliver the products inside your home, in the hallway.

LTL delivery with tailgate truck (when no scheduled delivery service is available)

1. We prepare your order in 3 to 20 business days. To see shipping times by product, click here.
2. Upon shipment of your order, you will either receive an email containing a tracking number with the LTL freight carrier, or a scheduling call (varies by region).
3. This type of carrier delivers our orders on wooden pallets using trucks equipped with a freight elevator. The pallet will be delivered to your door at a time when you can be present. However, the delivery person will not bring the products into your home. It's not a perfect delivery experience like scheduled delivery, but when we use it, it's because we have no other options.
