What's the purpose of a grommet?

The grommets allow you to neatly slide the wires from your computer and other electronic accessories through the desk. 

If you purchase a Sway desk, we will match the grommets to your wood surface (maple, cherrywood, white oak or walnut). If you purchase a Shift desk, we will match the grommets to the color of your frame (black or white).
