The Sway 1.0 and Alive 1.0 desks
My Sway/Alive 1.0 handset is showing error E60
What is an E60 error?
“E60” normally displays if the sensors of your desk are picking up a potential collision.
Resolving the Issue
The first thing to do is to make sure that the space underneath and above the desk is clear and that the surface is not coming into contact with anything as it raises or lowers..
If the issue persists, the next step is to perform a reset of your desk. Caution: This will reset all settings to factory defaults and erase any custom settings.
- Press both memory buttons and the UP button for about 10 seconds. After 10 seconds the display will show “S S”.
- Press the UP button until the display reads “S 0’’.
- Press the “SAVE” button (the ergonofis logo). You will hear a double “click”.
- Press the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest position.
The control box has been reset to factory settings and all custom user settings have been erased from memory.
Should this not resolve the issue, please contact us at info@ergonofis.com for further assistance.
My Sway/Alive 1.0 handset is flashing "0"
Why is my Sway/Alive handset flashing "0"?
Typically, this can occur if the desk suddenly lost power such as in a power outage or having been unplugged while in use. The 0 flashing means that the motors need to recalibrate. Make sure there's nothing under your desk and bring it at its lowest height using the down arrow. That should do the trick.
My Sway/Alive 1.0 handset is displaying "- - - -"
What does this mean?
When the handset simply displays "- - - -", it could indicate a connection issue.
Resolving the Issue
Please proceed with a hard reset of the desk, here are the steps:
- Unplug the main power cable from the power outlet.
- Unplug all the cables from the control box (under the desk).
- Wait for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect all the cables to the control box.
- Reconnect the main power cord to the outlet.
- If your display is showing a flashing "0" or "E61", it is normal, please proceed to the next step.
- Once your handset is active, bring the desk to its lowest height (22.9")
The desk has now been reset and the motors have also been calibrated.
Should this not resolve the issue, please contact us at info@ergonofis.com for further assistance.
How to Program/Deprogram height limits on my Sway/Alive 1.0
Why should I set a height limit?
If you have a filing cabinet or another accessory under your desk, you want to make sure you’ll never run into it! Same thing if your desk is under a slanted ceiling or wall-mounted accessory. Set a limit to make sure to protect our desk and the items around it.
How to set and remove a height limit:
To program a height limit, follow these steps:
1. Adjust the desk to the desired height limit by using the up/down arrows.
2. Press and hold the memory “ergonofis” key for 10 seconds.
3. You will hear a double click and the screen will show the height limit in inches once the limit is set.
To remove any height limits, follow these steps:
1. Adjust the desk to the set height limit by using the up/down arrows.
2. Press and hold the memory “ergonofis” key for 10 seconds.
3. You will hear a double click and the screen will show the height in inches once the limit is removed.
